Hosting & Data Vault Security

Location

The NetIDme Ltd Hosted Service is provided at our EK (East Kilbride) Data Centre, owned and operated exclusively by NetIDme Ltd.  NetIDme Ltd does not rent, lease or share rack space or services in its data centre to any third party.
The EK Centre is located in a secure location which provides the following services;
NACOSS GOLD Approved Keyless entry and security systems

  • 24/7/365 CCTV Surveillance
  • Fire and Intruder Detection
  • 24x7x365 Security Guards
  • Controlled heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Power back up with UPS
  • Dual failover Fibre Internet connections

Infrastructure

All hardware comprises of HP servers and ancillary equipment (Racks/UPS/Infrastructure) with dual hot swap components.  Hot stand-by servers are also available. Connectivity is via CISCO routers with dual redundancy. 

Back-up & Disaster Recovery

In the event of our data centre suffering disaster, all software and data can be recovered from archives held in a secure vault. We have the ability to deploy our complete service to a secondary location within 8 hours.  

Security & Compliance

Data is protected by intelligent firewalls, and periodically tested by our security partner.
Anti-virus and system monitoring software is loaded on all servers attached to the hosted network. Access to the hosted network is via secure entry and is not accessible from any location out with the data centre.
NetIDme Ltd ensures that all employees, third party suppliers and agents involved in processing or supporting data or application code comply with our security policy. All employees, as a requirement of employment, are verified against Disclosure Scotland.
